Results from the Fairgrounds

I mentioned the other day that I was going to be entering 4 pictures in this years Fair. My daughters just called from the fairgrounds with the following report:
This picture, entered in the “Flowers” category won 3rd place:
This picture was entered in the “Portraits” category and won 2nd place”
This picture was entered in the “Landscape” category and also won 2nd place:
And this picture, entered in the “People” category won 1st place
Now, given that this is the first time I have ever shown my work publicly (I don’t count putting it on a website that nobody ever saw) and every photo I entered won something, I’m finally beginning to think that maybe my wife and kids aren’t totally prejudiced as to how good my work is.
