Ummm … WOW!

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

This blog has been around, in one form or another, for about two years, give or take. In that two years, my hit counter made it to about 1400 visitors, give or take.

And then . . .

I posted some pictures of the Mona Lisa that my daighter had emailed to me. First, the post was linked by www.frogsmoke.com, then there was a link posted from www.neatorama.com, and a couple of French sites, refugioantiaereo.com and noloveoclaro.com, and finally, it was linked from nerdcore.de.

The end result? My hit counter tells the whole story. It was at about 1500 or so on Friday night and now, 48 hours later, it is at 4,785!

That’s over 3,000 visitors in two days - TWICE the combined traffic for the previous TWO YEARS.

Wow!

Remind me to thank my daughter for sending me those pictures!

Frogsmoker, huh? I have to ask … how do you get those things lit?

Soak them in cognac first. The rest is easy.
